Dzifa Gomashie nominated Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts

The Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Abla Dzifa Gomashie has been nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to serve as the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.

She is part of the President’s second batch of ministerial appointments submitted to Parliament through the Speaker, Alban Bagbin for consideration and approval.

Dzifa Gomashie is recognised for her extensive contributions to the creative arts sector and her dedicated service as a public servant and politician.

She is a seasoned politician, an accomplished creative arts professional, and a passionate advocate for youth development and cultural preservation.

Her decades-long career spans public service, cultural promotion, and grassroots leadership, making her a highly qualified candidate for the ministerial role.

As a two-term Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Dzifa Gomashie has earned a reputation for her dedication to community development and her commitment to championing initiatives that uplift the underprivileged.

Her prior experience as Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts further highlights her suitability for the ministerial position.

Dzifa Gomashie is an accomplished academic, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts (First Class) and an MPhil in African Studies from the University of Ghana.
