Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has been honoured through her father, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, and the management of the Kristo Asafo Mission as the leader of the Kantanka family. The occasion took place over the weekend.
Expressing her gratitude, Adwoa Safo described the honour as a responsibility she does not take lightly.
“To the church and family, this is an honour I do not take lightly, and I promise to faithfully discharge my duties and responsibilities dutifully,” she stated.
She further extended her appreciation to her father, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, for the confidence reposed in her, pledging to uphold and sustain the legacy he has built over the years.
“I assure him [my father] that the light he has ignited in Ghana and Africa will continue to shine bright for all to see. Together with the leadership of the church and family, we will work together to ensure that his legacy lives on for generations to come.”
She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to former President John Agyekum Kufuor, her family, and all loved ones who graced the occasion.
“I remain eternally grateful to President John Agyekum Kufuor, my family, and all friends and loved ones who came to witness my coronation and to be part of this special day. God richly bless you all.”
Her new role as the leader of the Kantanka Family is expected to strengthen her influence in the Kristo Asafo Mission and beyond.
