Nana Agradaa apologises for false allegations against Empress Gifty

Self-styled evangelist, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has publicly withdrawn and disowned all allegations she made against gospel musician Empress Gifty Oppong Adorye, admitting that the claims were false and without merit.

According to the legal firm handling her case, Agyaa Asamani Law Consult, the controversial statements made by Nana Agradaa on social media in May 2025 were made “in the spur of the moment” and have now been fully retracted.

In a formal statement issued on Thursday, December 4, the lawyer, Richard Asare Baffour, emphasised that the allegations against Empress Gifty were untrue and should not be given any weight.

Nana Agradaa has also issued an unqualified and sincere apology, acknowledging the harm her posts caused to the musician’s reputation, well-being, and professional standing.

The apology extends to Empress Gifty’s family, friends, and colleagues.

Her lawyers noted that the retraction aims to restore peace and correct the public record after months of tension.
