Covenant House Chapel Obuasi recently marked a major milestone – 30 years of spreading the gospel and serving the Lord. The celebration, held on March 10th, 2026, brought together members from all branches across the country and prominent men of God in Ghana.
In his sermon, Senior Minister Bishop George Kingsley Amoako recounted the church’s humble beginnings in a classroom and praised God for the progress made. He also shared his vision for the next 10-20 years, focusing on training young ministers to take the gospel to the nations.
The event featured notable speakers, including Rev Dr Steve Mensah, Rev Dr Ampiah Kwoffie, Bishop Hansiel Adjei Frimpong, chairman Williams Abeiku and Rev Chap Awuah. In his closing remarks, Bishop Amoako expressed gratitude, saying, “Glory to God. We had a memorable 30th anniversary celebration. May the Lord renew our energies and enlarge our territories.”
The celebration was a joy-filled occasion, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
