The heartbreaking news began circulating in the early hours of Sunday, May 24, 2026, sending shock-waves through social media timelines and leaving fans and industry colleagues in complete disbelief.
Confirmation of the tragic incident was made public by her husband, Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster (or Praye Honeho of the legendary music group Praye), in an emotional post shared on his official Instagram handle.
In a shatteringly raw tribute, the musician expressed his profound grief over the untimely demise of his wife, describing her as the foundation of his happiness and strength.
“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife Beverly Afaglo!!!” Choirmaster wrote. “You were my strength, my happiness, and the reason my life felt complete. Every moment with you was a blessing I will cherish forever.”Making the tragedy even more poignant, Choirmaster revealed that Beverly’s sudden passing occurred just four days prior to her upcoming birthday on May 28.
“It would have been just like 4 more days to your birthday but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you so he called you,” the grieving husband added. “I promise to take care and continue everything we planned and started. Until my last breath, you will remain in my heart forever.”
