Full list of winners at the 29th GJA Awards

The 29th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards concluded Saturday, November 8, at the Manhyia Palace, with Godwin Asedibe of TV3 crowned the 2024 Journalist of the Year.

The ceremony, held outside Accra for the first time under the high patronage of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, was a grand affair celebrating media excellence in Ghana.

These awards were selected from a pool of 321 entries, reflecting the highly competitive nature of this year’s contest, which focused on the theme: “Safeguarding Ghana’s future: The role of the media in promoting peace, security and the fight against galamsey.”

The event, marked by its relocation to the Ashanti Region, drew high-profile guests including President John Dramani Mahama, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Acting Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, and Alex Apau Dadey, Executive Chairman of the KGL Group.
