Renowned media personality and tourism advocate Abeiku Santana has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).
Known in private life as Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, he has consistently championed Ghana’s tourism industry, using his media influence to spotlight the country’s rich cultural heritage, festivals, and hospitality sector. His extensive experience in media, marketing, and tourism advocacy positions him as a strong choice for the role.
A certified tourism consultant, Abeiku Santana has played a key role in landmark initiatives such as the “Year of Return” and “Beyond the Return” campaigns, which significantly enhanced Ghana’s global tourism appeal. His appointment aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision to expand the tourism sector, create jobs, and attract investment.
