Miss Health Ghana 2025 2nd Runner-Up and Country Director for Young Women of Africa Ghana, Mabel Obeng, has said that many women are often held back while pursuing their dreams.
Speaking on Starr FM’s Starr Drive with Foster Aggor, the Country Director for Young Women of Africa Ghana noted that marriage and the responsibilities that come with childbirth can sometimes make it difficult for women to fully pursue their goals and aspirations.
According to Mabel, although women have the potential to achieve great things, some are forced to put their dreams on hold because of the responsibilities they take on following marriage and childbirth.
She believes women should be given the necessary support and opportunities to enable them to balance family responsibilities while still chasing their dreams and reaching their full potential.
